Hi, I'm Lucy — Vancouver-based traveller, content creator, and the face behind @lucy_cakes_ on Instagram. Travel has always been my thing. What started as a personal passion turned into something much bigger as I found myself capturing every destination through a lens, drawn to the beauty in the details — the light through a hotel window, the colours of a foreign market, the view from above.
As my trips grew, so did the content — and hotels started reaching out. That's when I leaned in fully. I have a natural eye for editorial imagery and a real tech advantage: I own and run Sugar Design Group, a web development company based in Vancouver, which means I approach every collaboration with both creative vision and a data-driven understanding of what actually performs.
When I'm not exploring internationally, you'll find me working remotely from somewhere beautiful — often with my dog in tow on our BC adventures along the coast, the islands and the mountains. Every destination on this site is somewhere I've personally experienced. I don't post what I don't believe in.
